Tyrese and Dwayne Johnson Drama As FAST 9 Is Pushed Back For Spin-off
Splasheroonis, by now you may have heard Fast 9 has been pushed back to 2020. But, Universal has something else for you July 26, 2019. That’s right, the spinoff with Dwayne Johnson’s Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw. Chris Morgan, who has been guiding the writing ship since 2006’s Toyko Drift. Sources say that one reason for Fast 9‘s push was to accommodate potential director scheduling. Sources also say Justin Lin may be lining up to return to the franchise and is the top man to helm the core entry of Fast 9. But, you know who didn’t believe that hype? Tyrese Gibson.
Diversity, love, multi ethnic worldwide multi generational, United Nations, One Race, Fast Family…… Until Dewayne showed up I guess this whole time he had a problem cause he wasn't the ONLY ONE on the movie poster……….. I guess dreams do come true congratulations to @hhgarcia41 and @therock you guys are just amazing you really broke up the #FastFamily I tried to warn you guys… You thought I was hating…… I was simply fighting to keep the family together what makes us great is when you see us all TOGETHER we don't fly solo….. #MyLastPost today….. I got 3 years of venting on this clown – They offered but YOU didn't have to agree with a solo #HobbsMovie #OriginalFastFamily we salute you and stand on your shoulders #VinDiesel #PaulWalker #RobCohen #RomanTej were offered a spin off we TURNED IT DOWN!!!
Well, regardless of how you feel about Tyrese or Dwayne Johnson, this newest fight amongst the #FastFamily should be interesting. Johnson has yet to respond, but he’s really not a man most people want a problem with. And, if you look at the money the films have made since Johnson entered the franchise, it’s pretty obvious who we come to see. Sure, it’s a collective, but Johnson is also the highest paid actor in Hollywood for a reason. His schedule is insane, and people will flood the Hobbs spinoff. We’ll see how this plays out.
