Check Out the BLADE RUNNER Anime Short!

In anticipation of the release of Blade Runne: 2049, the sequel to a move that came out in the 80s but took place in 2022, Director Denis Villeneuve and his gang have brought us a short film anime version about how the world was in 2022. The short, entitled Black Out 2022, lasts about 15 minutes. At the beginning of the video, Villeneuve introduces the clip and explains that it’s one of a series that Bridges the timeline between the original film and the even darker Earth we expect to see next weekend in theaters. Denis Villeneuve May Direct CLEOPATRA Remake

On the eve of the much awaited release of his sci-fi sequel, Blade Runner: 2049, director Denis Villeneuve is said to be in talks to direct another Sony picture, the pic tale of the enigmatic queen Cleopatra. According to Deadline, the director of last year’s award-winning Arrival and of other hit movies like Sicario and Prisoners is in serious consideration to direct a film that would be produced by Scott Rubin and Amy Pascal and that could even feature Angelina Jolie in the titular role.
