Mahershala Ali In Talks For HBO’s TRUE DETECTIVE Season 3

Moonlight star Mahershala Ali is reportedly in early talks to star in True Detective season 3. The 43-year-old won Best Supporting Actor at this year’s Oscars for Moonlight, but now he’s reportedly in negotiations to front the third season of HBO’s True Detective. A third season of True Detective hasn’t been officially commissioned, with the second season starring Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn not being quite as beloved as the first. Marvel Studios Begins Filming On BLACK PANTHER

Although there have been some set photos out on the web, Marvel Studios announced today that production has begun on Black Panther. The film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, with Academy Award nominee Angela Bassett, with Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. In an interview with Comingsoon.net, Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson teased the possibilities for an upcoming Doctor Strange 2. In the interview, Derrickson was asked if the sequel would contain some of the more horror elements that were found in the comics.
