AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR To Introduce New Worlds
Not much has been revealed about the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, but we know that the movie is going to have an absolutely massive cast. Seemingly all of the core members from the Guardians of the Galaxy are going to be included, as well as the core MCU heroes such as Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange.
What we can expect is for Marvel to continue pushing the limits of digital technology as well as creating new environments and worlds we have never seen on film before.
Production Designer Charles Wood spoke about his work on Doctor Strange, his fourth film with Marvel Studios, as well as what had him excited about tackling Avengers: Infinity War, his fifth with the company:
“Any time you turn that page on this script, you’re kind of staggered, blown away, terrified by what’s in front of you. I think rather like Doctor Strange, you’ll find this film, it’s not regurgatative, yeah? What I’m trying to say, is, there are many, many, many new worlds to see in this film.
Infinity Wars will be the first films to be shot entirely in IMAX, using a new 2D digital camera developed alongside Arri. Production on the films is set to be completed for the scheduled release dates of May 4, 2018 for Avengers: Infinity War, and May 3, 2019 for its sequel.
