Which Avengers Will Say Goodbye After AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR?

Splashkateers, as we showed you earlier, Vanity Fair released some gorgeous new covers from the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War. But, they also managed to sneak some sentences out of the actors. I phrased that exactly as I meant to. Most of the time we get months and months of “I can’t really say anything” and I think we all know why, but damn, let me know a little. We know Thanos is coming, kind of. They’re taking forever to put out the trailer, for all I know Thanos arrives on Earth minutes before the credits roll in Infinity War. But, we have a few tidbits to take away here. It starts with Chris Hemsworth requesting a picture:

“I thought, Could somebody take a photo of this?” the actor said. “We’re all aware that this is going to be the last time we get to hang out like this.” That’s a point emphasized by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige as he says that Avengers 4 will, “bring things you’ve never seen in superhero films: a finale.”
Bye every superhero from Phase 1. I’m sure Tony, Steve, or Thor will make their way back for the occasional cameo. Hulk is mostly CGI, and if you have big plans for the future, you want the green guy in there. Falcon has got to be in line for Captain America, but first let Bucky have his time. Hey, let’s introduce US Agent soon, I always liked that guy.
Disney’s CEO Bob Iger has stated:
“There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting… We’re looking for worlds that are completely separate—geographically or in time—from the worlds that we’ve already visited.”
Then comes Kevin Feige, with the power punch!
“22 movies in, and we’ve got another 20 movies on the docket that are completely different from anything that’s come before—intentionally,”
Alright, so where do we think they’re going? We know Spider-Man: Junior Prom will be the first film in Phase 4. What’s after that? How weird is Disney/Marvel prepared to get? Let me hear your thoughts. I’m certainly thinking Secret War. They’re probably going into alternate dimensions, just look at the original Ant-Man. Hell, I want Avengers: West Coast. Wonder Man is sorely missed in this equation!
