What Does a Billion Dollar Budget Buy?… AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR And AVENGERS 4

Did anyone know that the CEO of Chik-fil-A is also a co-owner of Pinewood Atlanta Studios? You read right, but let me say that again in a different way. Dan Cathy is the CEO of “meh” chicken chain AND owns a film studio. Relevance? Well, Pinewood Atlanta Studios is hosting the largest film production ever. The film(s) we’re speaking about are Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel Avengers 4. How bout that?

In conversation with other comic film fans, it’s hard not to get lost in thought thinking about what a billion dollar production might be like. Avatar was budgeted at $425 million, and that is arguably the most visually dazzling film of our time. So, what’s Marvel going to spend all that money on? The scope of Infinity Wars must be so grand… sorry, I started to drool on myself.

Cathy said:

“We now have on the lot down there now the largest film production ever with a $1 billion budget”

The film certainly can’t mirror the old comics, but let’s just have a look at some images that we may see ripped straight from the pages:

Avenger: Infinity War is currently filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
