Report: Ridley Scott In Talks to Direct MERLIN SAGA

Variety is reporting that famed director Ridley Scott is in talks with Disney to develop a film based on the legendary magician that supposedly gave rise to King Arthur. It’s being billed as a Merlin Saga and could be one of the first movies to focus exclusively on the magician, as opposed to the other many movies that feature mostly Arthur himself. Kendrick Lamar, “Top Dawg” Will Produce BLACK PANTHER Album

Marvel has announced that international rapper superstar Kendrick Lamar and executive Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith will curate and produce a Black Panther album for the upcoming film. This is the first that that Marvel has a wholly original set of multiple recordings created specifically for one of its films. The Black Panther album will feature music from and inspired by the movie, including the single “All the Stars” featuring Lamar. Despite receiving mostly negative critical reviews, Netflix today announced it had green-lit a Bright sequel. The first movie, released late last year on December 22, 2017, starred Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, was not well-received by critics.
