Full THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Voice Cast Revealed
The Lego Batman Movie is perhaps my most anticipated film of the year. The Lego Movie was my favorite movie of 2014, and Will Arnett’s Batman was the film’s standout character. Now, with The Lego Batman Movie set to come out next Friday, Warner Bros. has released twenty images from the movie. It has also released the film’s complete voice cast. Akin to 2014’s The Lego Movie, The Lego Batman Movie cast includes a myriad of celebrity cameos. The pictures reveal Batman with Superman, voiced by Channing Tatum. Harley Quinn, voiced by Jenny Slate, is also shown in the pictures. Jonah Hill’s Green Lantern will be appearing as a member of the Justice League, alongside Adam Devine’s The Flash.
Will Arnett returns to voice the Caped Crusader. Michael Cera voices Dick Grayson/Robin, Ralph Fiennes voices Alfred Pennyworth, and Rosario Dawson voices Barbara Gordon/Batgirl. Hangover star Zach Galifianakis voices the film’s antagonist, The Joker. The aforementioned Jenny Slate plays The Joker’s girlfriend Harley Quinn. Conan O’ Brien voices Edward Nygma/The Riddler, Doug Benson voices Bane, Zoe Kravitz voices Selina Kyle/Catwoman, and Billy Dee Williams reprises his role as Harvey Dent/Two Face. Surprisingly, Sauron from The Lord of the Rings and Voldemort from Harry Potter will be appearing in the film. The former will be voiced by Jemaine Clement, the latter by comedy legend Eddie Izzard.
The Lego Batman Movie is directed by Robot Chicken‘s Chris McKay. It is co-produced by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the co-directors of The Lego Movie. The film is co-written by Chris McKenna and Seth Grahame Smith. McKenna has written episodes for Community and American Dad. Smith has written hit books such as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. The Lego Batman Movie follows the Dark Knight learn the value of teamwork and friendship after adopting Dick Grayson.
