JUSTICE LEAGUE Could Be Ben Affleck’s Last Knight

Here we are on the cusp of the final sprint to the finish line for superhero films. The movie world and comic book fans world wide are excited to see the end results of the battle between Thor: Ragnarok ,which came to the screen last Friday, and the soon to be released Justice League, which has gotten some quiet nods of approval from critics. Regardless of what side of the fence you’re on, both of these films will have lines waiting in excitement.

Yet, the cloud of uncertainty has not left the DCEU as just weeks before the release of their super team film another monkey wrench of doubt was thrown into the Warner Bros. machine. During an interview with ExtraTV, Ben Affleck was doing a short promo with Jason Mamoa and Ray Fisher when he was asked if there could be a fifth appearance of him as the Dark Knight, his answer was pretty cut and dry;

“I don’t know about that. We will see what the future holds.”

He didn’t seem very enthused at all about the prospect of playing Batman again even counting his all of 5min in Suicide Squad as one of three appearances thus far. Now we know Matt Reeves has plans to make two make his stamp in Batman trilogies but the next two films may have a new face as Bruce Wayne, which for those who have been complaining about Ben Affleck taking the mantel, will be a welcomed change. Well there goes continuity again.

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017.
