Diego Luna and Michael Peña To Star in NARCOS Season 4

Netflix announced today that Michael Peña (CrashAmerican Hustle) and Diego Luna (Rogue OneY Tu Mamá También) will star in the upcoming fourth season of Narcos. Production recently began on the new season in Mexico City, Mexico, and season four will be set in Mexico. The casting announcement and location were confirmed today on the Narcos social accounts and you can catch that in the video embedded below.

Meanwhile, checkout Netflix’s official page for Narcos, which contains a lot of information about the wildly popular, half-Spanish language show that follows different groups of drug-dealers, kingpins, law enforcement officials, and turncoats as they navigate that dirty seedy world of drug trafficking in Latin America.

There is no word as to what exactly the roles for the two megastars will be in Narcos. Suffice it to say that both possess the acting chops (having participated in plenty of action films) as well as the language chops (Luna is a native of Mexico and Pena is Mexican-American) to fit whatever roles are given to them well.

No timetable is set yet for the release of Narcos season 4 but you can rest assured that it will be soon and that development is well under way. Check out the teaser trailer below!
