Game Of Thrones’ Michael McElhatton Confirmed For A Role In JUSTICE LEAGUE
DC are really going to war with Marvel. With the production of more movies each year and the lighter tone of the Justice League trailer compared to last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice, they have included the comedic element too.
In a recent interview with Red Carpet News TV, Game Of Thrones actor Michael McElhatton spoke about his role in the upcoming Justice League movie. Although he couldn’t discuss the part he will be playing, he did talk a bit about the film itself.
When asked whether the recent trailers were a good representation of the final product, McElhatton replied that there will be “a lot more humour”.
Don’t expect a comedy though. As well as praising Justice League director Zack Snyder, Michael also states that the opening scene is “pretty dark”.
“I found that the scene I did, which is a big opening scene, was pretty dark in its tone. But in a good way. It wasn’t comic booky, but I think you can thread a certain amount of humor through it, which maybe the previous one was lacking,” McElhatton said.
