Monarch: King of All Monster Hunters; New Film Clip From KONG SKULL ISLAND

Monsters do exist. Monarch specializes in the hunt for large unidentified organisms. If we’re to believe John Goodman’s character, then these monsters roamed the earth well before humans were present. He warns that if we ignore these creatures they will take the planet back. Based on the past tense used in this conversation, we can assume many of Samuel L. Jackson’s men have died at the hands of the beasts of Skull Island.

It’s been a while since the last viewing of Godzilla, but someone go back and see if Monarch’s organization is mentioned in the 2014 film. It would be interesting to see if the writers thought that far ahead. But, one thing is for sure, they are readying for a fight bigger than Batman v Superman. That comparison isn’t fair, but it is funny to bring up.

Check out the new film clip below from Kong: Skull Island and soak up the all the Jackson-Goodman goodness. By the way, is everyone excited for two of the greatest actors of the last 30 years together onscreen?! The first moment both appeared in a trailer I had to be removed from the theater for throwing a fit (of joy). Okay, here’s the clip.

Kong: Skull Island opens in theaters on March 10th.
