Netflix’s MINDHUNTER Coming Back For Season 2

Netflix’s MINDHUNTER Coming Back For Season 2

Netflix just announced via Instagram that it had renewed the immensely popular TV series MINDHUNTER for a second season. The show, which came out just last month to popular and critical acclaim, follows a pair of FBI detectives in the early days of criminal profiling. MINDHUNTER’s premise is that they interview serial killers to try to get at how they think.

Given the popularity of the TV show, it is no wonder that Netflix is bringing it back. The question was always when and never if.

MINDHUNTER features Jonathan Groff (Looking), Holt McCallany (Sully), Anna Torv (Fringe), Hannah Gross (Unless) and newcomer Cameron Britton, who portrays serial killer Ed Kemper on the series, and has drawn raves for his performance. The show boasts royalty from Charlize Theron to David Fincher as executive producers and was created by The Road’s Joe Penhall.

There is no release date yet.
