NIGHTWING Director: Casting a Wide Net for Lead Role

Responding to fan inquiries on Twitter about who would play Dick Grayson in DC’s upcoming adaption of the comic Nightwing, director Chris McKay indicated that no decision had been made. Instead, he indicated that they are casting (no pun intended) a wide net in their search for the right actor.

The director of The Batman LEGO Movie said that “we need to find the perfect person,” and that “We need this movie to blow your mind.”

Few details have emerged about where this movie will be headed, and there are a lot of DCEU film projects in the pipeline that are all going in different directions. But, presumably, the story will at least reference Grayson’s circus training and/or make use of his acrobatic abilities. The actor cast in the role would at least need to be able to step into those high-flying shoes, not to mention to replicate the abilities that Nightwing has presumably learned from Batman himself.

Check out the tweets below and let us know who you’d like to see cast!
