Rian Johnson Talks A Bit About STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI

Over the weekend at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, director Rian Johnson spoke about the biggest anticipated film this year, Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

In regards to the films ionic opening crawl, Rian Johnson confirmed to MTV that the crawl is a solid three paragraphs long:

“Even if it picks up right where the last one left off, there’s still a lot of unanswered questions about what the state of everything is. We were able to fill three paragraphs.”

About a year ago, Princes Harry and William paid a visit to the set of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in London and the rumors started flying on whether or not they would have a cameo on the film. Yahoo Movies caught up with Rian Johnson at Star Wars Celebration and straight up asked if the royals are indeed in his upcoming sequel.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about. I have no clue. The last voice you heard … I can neither confirm nor deny.”

Johnson also spoke with Good Morning America and revealed that Rey’s parentage will be ‘addressed’ in Star Wars: The Last Jedi:

Finally Johnson told GMA that The Last Jedi is singular not plural in his mind.
