The nerdy singing gals from the Pitch Perfect 3 are just about set to tune up their pipes and belt it all out as the third installment in the popular teen franchise gets ready to launch just about a month from now. Last night, Universal released a promotional clip featuring the Pitch Perfect 3 cast joining forces with The Voice.

According to the official press byline Pitch Perfect 3 may be thus described. “Now graduated from college and out in the real world where it takes more than a cappella to get by, the Bellas return in Pitch Perfect 3, the next chapter in the beloved series that has taken in more than $400 million at the global box office.

“After the highs of winning the World Championships, the Bellas find themselves split apart and discovering there aren’t job prospects for making music with your mouth.  But when they get the chance to reunite for an overseas USO tour, this group of awesome nerds will come together to make some music, and some questionable decisions, one last time.”

The video is a mash-up of the known Pitch Perfect cast with current contestants from this season of The Voice. The clip, at about 2:30 long and posted below, features Anna Kendrick leading the way in a soulful sing-off entitled “Freedom 90s x Cups.”

The cast from Pitch Perfect 2 is basically all back and it highlights Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hailee Steinfeld, Brittany Snow, Elizabeth Banks and John Michael Higgins. Joining them is John Lithgow and Ruby Rose.
