Wonder Woman Might Appear In FLASHPOINT

Splashingtons, Wonder Woman is nearing the end of its theatrical run. It made all the money that executives hoped it would, currently sitting around $400 Million domestically. Bravo ladies, bravo. Naturally, people are wondering when they’ll get to see Gal Gadot wield her golden lasso again. Justice League is right around the corner, and the last trailer did have some standard on it. There’s a sequel currently being written, and scheduled to enter production next year. Because DC knows to strike while the iron is hot.  But, we’re gathered here today to talk about another appearance;  Flashpoint

Honestly, I had no idea they were going to do this story for Flash’s (Ezra Miller) first film. And, the more I think about it, the more of a mistake that sounds like. It’s a great story, and if you haven’t seen The Flashpoint Paradox (DC Animation) you need to rent that from some streaming service right now. It’s a great time traveling story, with an alternate universe, and Bruce Wayne’s drunken father as the Dark Knight but with guns. The problem with Flashpoint is DC hasn’t earned it. That would be like if Marvel had jumped straight to the Defenders after Daredevil’s first season.

DC’s lack of patience is a big issue. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice suffered from too much being stuffed into one film. Face-off with Supes, Intro to Lex Luthor, Intro to cosmic villains, Intro to Doomsday-ish Thing, Kill Superman, Bring back Superman kinda… You see? And, Flashpoint is going to place us in a situation where we’re seeing alternate versions of heroes that we barely know. But, perhaps now that things are looking up for the DCEU we’ll get wonderfully fun Flash film. Flashpoint is currently scheduled for release in 2020.
