Woody Harrelson Thinks Young HAN SOLO Film Could Be The Best STAR WARS
The Summer of Woody Harrelson is upon us!
Woody Harrelson is quietly one of the most dependable actors for an amazing performance that is working today. You tell me Woody’s going to be in the film, you’ve got a ticket sold. Tell me he’s starring in it, and I’ll buy popcorn. If he’ll be there to discuss said fil, it’s better I not be within hugging distance because that’s when things get weird. Woody sat down for an interview with Collider where he spoke on his upcoming independent film Wilson.
During his interview, he touched a little bit about his bromance between he and Andy Serkis in the upcoming War for the Planet of the Apes.
“I love that guy. I truly love him. He’s an amazing guy. Yeah, I think that when we really synced up was when he came over to my place, the place I rented in Vancouver, and we had like two bottles of wine, and what a night. What a night. And by the way, I don’t remember a damn thing we talked about, but I can tell you it would’ve been like the greatest conversation if we could’ve written it down or something, because it was incredible. He’s such a bright, amazing guy.”
And, he’s gearing up for this little thing you may know as the Han Solo movie. Yeah, Woody is space, I love it too. He briefly spoke about working with Phil Lord and Christopher Miller on the Han Solo project and how he thinks this will be the best film in the Star Wars Universe.
“They’re great. You know, any movie’s only as good as the director or in this case directors, and so I have a suspicion, because if you look at the whole, all the movies, the backlog of every one of these movies, there’s a lot of great stuff, but one might not be not as good with the writing in this or the acting in that or the directing in that, this has great actors, great directors, great script, and I really feel like we’re gonna make the best one.”
A more immediate question we should ask ourselves is “what movie starring Woody Harrelson should I watch today?” No Country for Old Men? Natural Born Killers? Perhaps Zombieland? Well, Wilson opens (limited release) March 24th. We have plenty of time to go back and watch his catalog before the summer of Woody Harrelson begins.
